I painted this for a last minute art show in Revelstoke this summer (last minute as in I started it at 6pm the night before the 4pm cut off to drop off your work at the gallery). I dragged the kitchen table into the living room for more optimal light, drank about 8 cups of tea, and listened to the Bare Naked Ladies all night long while I painted. I got a few hours of sleep and then leapt out of bed again to finish, trim, steam, flatten, document, mount and frame it before sprinting off to the gallery. I loved every frantic minute of it- nothing beats a good deadline, and I think you can see that excited, passionate energy in the moment and colours of this piece.

This 11x14” print comes unframed, and is packaged in a compostable cellophane bag.
