This painting shows Moraine Lake- one of the most well loved lakes in the Canadian Rockies. People come from all over the world to stand on this very spot, and it’s not hard to see why. The Valley of 10 Peaks is astounding, and the frigid glacial lake below them reflects them perfectly. I’ve spent many a day hiking and scrambling around this area and topping off the day with a freezing cold dip in the lake. It’s the perfect way to spend a summer day in my opinion.
